1972 Dodge Demon 340 - This is a 72 Demon 340 3 speed Stick. Vitamin C orange with black
interior, black side stripes and blacked out tail light treatment. The car has 54,000 original miles
but has been off the road since 1975. We know the complete history of the car since day one.
It has the numbers matching engine and
transmission though it now has a 4 speed in it with the three speed case with the Numbers. It does
run and drive and we pulled the build sheet out and have it with the car.
It has some small areas of rust just from being stored
in Michigan all these years. All frame and structures are very good. It has the original carb,
an old mopar
performance cam, headers, bench seat, manual steering, manual brakes, painted racing mirrors, and
AM Radio. It does have the original air
cleaner and a new gas tank, straps and sending unit.
The brakes are good and it has all 4 rally wheels and the interior is complete. It won its
class back in 73' at Detroit Dragway where it ran a best of 13.23 with a 4:10 posi. The sticker is still
in the drivers rear glass. It is a bulls eye that says "Detroit Dragway Class Winner" with a Arrow
in the center. It is a cool car and not very many were this color or with a manual trans.
