1970 Dodge Charger SE 383 Magnum - This is an unrestored survivor other than
the repaint to the driver fender. This car has been in inside storage since 1989
and the paint and interior are in totally stock condition. The motor and
transmission are numbers matching. The motor runs strong and does not burn any oil,
but the transmission does have a leak from a dried seal. The trans works fine but
is sluggish and will probably need to be freshened up down the road. It runs and
drive very nice down the road. The only rust is in the center trunk pan that will
need to be fixed. The quarters have a little dent on them but need no rust repair.
The gas tank has been replaced. The carburetor was rebuilt and works great. The
power steering box has a leak from sitting, but works fine. The A/C was charged
and worked great this past summer. As for the interior the front seats are leather
and will need to be replaced some time soon. The back seat and door panels are
very nice. The headliner has split and will need to be replaced to keep out of
your hair. Car is a very nice original car that will not need a lot of work to become
very nice. You can drive this car as you work on it. It also has a nice build
sheet to provide documentation. This is a nice driver that doesn't need a ton
of rust repair or work to be nice.
