1970 Dodge Challenger 440 4-Speed

1970 Dodge CHallenger R/T 440 4-Speed - This is an original 440 4-Speed R/T Challenger. The original color is mango orange and black interior. It was a stripe delete car with only the blacked out hood. It has always been in California and has never had any rust. The quarters are very dry along with the rest of the car. The only signs of any rust are a little surface rust in the trunk. The motor is date coded and year correct but the vins are a little off. The dash is very nice with no cracks. The only issue is the two little mounting holes for a tach that was installed many years ago. They are filled as seen in the pictures. The front seats have been recovered along with a new headliner and carpet. The back seat is original and excellent. All the gauges work even the clock. The body has one repaint over the original. The paint is not a quality paint job but is better than the original faded paint. There are a few very small dings and waves in the various parts of the body. On a scale of 1 - 10, it is a 6.5. The car used to have body side molding but it was removed. This car was also optioned with a consol that is now missing. The back bracket is still there, the front is missing. It still has the original 3:54 dana. The rims are 15x7 ralleys all the way around. The car doesn't need anything to be a nice driver. It runs and drives excellent. To make it a nicer show car it would need to be painted and detailed a little more. This is one of the dryest 440 4-speed cars that we have seen in a long while. It has excellent options and is a good color.
