1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible 440 Magnum
|

|
1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible - Here is an original 1967 R/T Coronet
convertible. According to the "white book" there were less than 200 of these made.
The color combo is original to the car and shows on the fender tag, though the paint seems to be
a little lighter than the original color. The car was restored in the mid 90's
and still looks very nice. It shows some wear and is considered a street
driver not a show car. Everyone gives the car thumbs up. We just took it on a
good road trip for about 150 miles and it is very road worthy. It is a
nice driver and runs very well. The car cruises with traffic at 75-80mph with no
problems. This car was ordered with power disk brakes which is a very rare
option and it still has them on the car. Everything seems to work even the
clock keeps accurate time, though the gas gauge has a mind of its own. The car
shows a few paint bubbles (not rust) on the top of the right rear quarter. It is hard
to see them unless you get down on the car. Years ago the quarters with extensions
were replaced with original parts. The quality is good and there are no
signs of anything coming through. The trunk is very solid with only
superficial rust from the past years. It has been garaged for the last
15 years and is very dry. The only signs of rust are on one of the supports
under the driver's side. The floor pans are solid as is the rest of the car.
the car is very reliable and very clean. It doesn't need anything to go. Just
get in and drive.
